What happens if I lose access to my wallet?
Losing access to your wallet can have serious consequences across all parts of your investment on Hexbox, including refund eligibility, product or service delivery, and ownership verification. Here's what you need to know:
🎟️ Refunds:
Your investment is represented by a unique ticket NFT stored in your wallet. If you lose access to your wallet, you lose access to that NFT — and without it, you can’t request a refund.
Refunds are only available to the original wallet that holds the investment NFT.
📦 Product / Service Delivery:
Many campaigns use the NFT to verify eligibility for physical goods, digital downloads, event access, or other services. If you can't access your wallet, you won’t be able to prove you’re a valid backer, and the project team is not obligated to fulfill your reward.
🔒 Why Hexbox Can’t Help Recover Wallets:
Hexbox is a non-custodial, blockchain-based platform. We never store or manage your private keys, wallets, or funds. This means:
We cannot reset your password.
We cannot recover lost wallets.
We cannot reissue NFTs or investment history.
✅ What You Can Do:
Try recovering your wallet using your seed phrase, recovery method, or backup.
If you still have device/browser access, check if your wallet is cached or auto-logged in.
Contact your wallet provider (e.g. MetaMask, Core) for recovery help.
